What does fire-resistant actually mean?
A
Today, various norms are applicable to fire safety. There is, for instance, the M1 for France and Spain and British Standard BS for the United Kingdom. B1 is the norm for Germany and Class Uno for Italy. Flocart supplies the appropriate finish depending on the demands of the market.
In the near future, all the various European norms will come under one single norm, EN 13773.

Q
What is “flock”?
A
Flock are fine-cut textile fibres made from viscose, cotton, polyester or polyamide. These are applied in a coating to arrive at the appropriate suturing with the textile. Flock can be found in furnishings, curtain materials, shoes and even in a wide variety of packaging materials.
Flocart uses this technology to give added comfort and flexibility to its black out curtains.
